Is this real ice?
Cards marked Real ice are rink times Prolific checked with the rink, with the date we checked. Once you've paid, Prolific books the ice with the rink for you. Anything marked Demo is a sample and never reserves ice.
When does my card get charged?
Not when you sign up. Your card is held for the price shown, and charged only when the hour is actually on: the skate fills, both halves are in, or your Full Ice is booked. Otherwise the hold is released.
What if the skate doesn't fill?
Every hold is released and nobody is charged. Your bank decides how fast a released hold disappears from your statement.
Do I need an account?
No. You get a private link by email that shows where things stand and lets you drop out before you're charged.
Do goalies pay?
No. Goalies skate free and don't need a card.
What if the rink cancels?
You get a full refund, including Prolific's booking fee.
